Things I learned that the internet hates

So I've been using these internets for some time now, and I've come to find that there are very specific things that the internet hates on, sometimes deservingly and sometimes not so much. Three things I know the internet hates the most right now:

-Nickelback
-Jeff Dunham
-3D Movies

Nickelback had at least a few songs that I remember not hating, Jeff Dunham is more talented at comedy than many the people ripping on him will ever be, and when done right 3D movies enhance/augment rather than be the focus. I'm sure there are worse things in the world, like actually terrible bands, people who aren't funny at all, and claymation.

Now, the internet also hates the RIAA/MPAA and DRM, which is justified. As long as they don't start hating people making and/or eating weird foods, I think we'll be good.

It's on! (And resolutions and so forth)

Alright, so Evan has his goals, for him and us. Sounds good.

But I think Tom and I should come up with our own resolutions as well. Here's what I've got so far:

1) I promise to publicly remember Evan's Birthday. (I'm also tempted to add older posts to make it look like I did)

2) I'll try to post at least one classic YNTE a month. Hell, maybe every Friday, I dunno. At least one a month though.

...yep, that's what I've got so far. I'll try to think of something involving getting admin privileges back or something.

Oh, by the way, what about Stevo?

Achievement Unlocked: VOOT!

Virtual On Oratorio Tangram came out for XBLA a few days ago. Since Virtual On is, of course, the best game series ever, you should go download this and get an easy 200 points added to your gamerscore.

Gogo Giant Robots! (Oh, sorry, the picture I posted with this is the original ad for the first game. Epic!)

I have no idea why Evan hasn't jumped on the opportunity for really easy points on this yet. Maybe he hasn't been eating enough. Or maybe he ate Spider Pig, and somehow got swine flu. Not to mention that this whole swine flu incident is just a big media hype, and I'll give into it when pigs fly... then we'd have to worry about avian swine flu. Crap.

Fixed

Wordle: You Need to Eat 2

Thanks Tom. I think this is much more accurate. Although Common words were omitted, so I fixed it again.

Wordle: You Need To Eat 3

Also, on the first one a few posts below, I noticed Mountain Doogie. I think the should be the official soda of Neil Patrick Harris.

Edit: didn't notice Evan's in the comments in the previous post. Might as well post it as well, 'cause it wins.

Wordle: YNTE

If you really want it on a shirt, Evan, I'm sure cafepress could oblige >_> Or propose it in the school district's budget to get you guys Webdev/YNTE shirts, or make someone get it for you for May 12, or threaten someone to make one for you for free... you've got options, man.

Sounds delicious

I knew TV shows other than Lost talked about needing to eat.
Metalocalypse is friggin' funny, BTW.

My hellza exciting weekend

I basically sat around playing video games (oblivion, gun, teh haloz), watching tv (lost, bones, prison break) and reading old comic books, mainly x-men. I started reading the dark pheonix saga. It's a classic. I also plopped down 6 bucks for a copy of X-Men (vol2) Issue 1. Now I just need issues 2-199, and I'll be up to date!

Shoot 'Em Up

Go see Shoot 'Em Up. As much of an action film as it is, I would classify it more as a comedy/awesome. Also, within the first five minutes, it makes YNTE proud. Remember kids and people trying to kill Smith, eat your vegetables.
