This one goes out to the punctuation fans out there

I just realized that there's no period in "Dr Pepper". So it's not an abbreviation. Therefore it's not pronounced "Doctor Pepper", but rather "Drpepper". Although, with the size of the P, perhaps it's "pdrepper". Who can know?

Anyway, I'm still upset at the folk over at PDrepper for not getting my free PDrepper when Chinese Democracy came out. I failed to submit my stuff both over the internet and over the phone due to the extreme demand. I demand a free soda, or my two hours back.

Anyone reading this at PDrepper, feel free to post either in the comments. I also accept large amounts of cash.

Not Last!

The ITC Purple Cobras* have risen to the ranks of volleyball medicrity. That's right, tonight we won 2/4 games bringing our overall match record to 2 and 6. Also, according to Umi, our record is now better than the Seahawks' record this past season, which was 4 and 12. So to all of you out there who think you know math and think that they're identically bad, well, you're right and Umi's an idiot, but we still rule.

But most importantly, I scored a couple points, including some awesome spikes! And Steve (aka Steve the Pirate) didn't spike any teachers in the face, and I didn't cheer afterward.

*Not our official name, but we don't really have one.

Check out my skills of an artist!

So, this evening I was messing around with Photoshop CS4, because I've had it for a while but never really tried anything with it. So on a whim, I decided to take pictures of celebrities and photoshop them into superheroes. While the first few were fruitless, I finally had some degree of success getting Elizabeth Banks to look like Ms. Marvel. Yes, it has its flaws: it's pretty clear which parts are original, which parts are drawn, and which parts are photoshopped in, and there are quite a few parts with bumpy edges I was just too lazy to make smooth, but on the whole I think it looks pretty good.

Once I finished, I decided to post it here for several reasons:
1) Nothing else is happening on the blog
2) I think it turned out far better than any other piece of art I've ever made and wanted to brag
3) So you all can criticize me in the comments and remind me I'm not so special after all

Do you guys have other things you'd like to see photoshopped? Lemme know, I'm always up to a challenge. If I can make a dolphin with a Dan Marino head, I should be able to do anything.

Here's you christmas present, YNTE!

It's an Arwen Sword Replica. You know, because it's both thoughtful and practical?

Anyway, I hope your Christmas was magical.

I'd eat that.

Question: Is it sad that our readers are doing more to keep the blog alive than we are?

No two people are not on fire.

The other day, we went to Taco Bell to buy lunch, only to find it was closed. Apparently there had been some sort of fire.

We were about to leave when Tom asks one of them "Is the chalupa machine okay?"

They replied, "Actually, that's where the fire started".

Tom made the saddest face I have ever seen a human make.

In happier news, the next day it was fine. Tom got his chalupa fix.

See, Matt? the blog is alive!
