Tabasco gets a fancy ad?

Don't get me wrong, Tabasco is delicious and makes a lot of things (like food) better. Even taste better! But I noticed our usual Adsense adverts are replaced with Tabasco's Twitter feed. And yet it still says "Ads by Google" on the thing, so either Adsense is becoming more targeted or Evan struck a deal with the hot sauce masterminds. Does this mean we get paid more?

Anyway, it just seems so... appropriate. Also probably meta, somehow.

Edit: I guess it's just regular old boring Adsense ads if you're viewing a single post. I was almost hoping I could see a twitter feed on our blog on every page!

Who's Driving?

Oh my god nobody's driving! How can this be?

Looks like Google is being Google again. Making cars that drive themselves for some reason. And making possible every automated car personality a reality. Night Rider? Herby the Love Bug? Those Semi-trucks in that one Simpson's episode? All future movie cars that drive themselves? I'm sure there are more but I'm too lazy to research them.

This also opens up a whole new avenue for bear to be driving. How could we NOT let this happen?

Advertizing Fail

Dear Google: When a somebody makes a webcomic criticizing a product, that might not be the best spot to advertise THAT EXACT PRODUCT.

We are the only cool people on the internet.

In case there was any confusion, we created it...

Nobody else is cool enough to talk about adsjfhpiouczvn;alerth, only us.

Also, this time Matt is King of the Blog. Damn it, Google! WHY CAN'T I BE KING?

Shocking Discovery!

So I googled "you need to eat" because I was lacking inspiration, and also seeing how long it took for YNTE to show up. So I scrolled down the first page and...

...Wait what? Stevo, who usually posts even less than Tom (but this month they're neck and neck at zero apiece) appeared, linking him to one of the more recent posts made by me.

I'm surprised that Evan isn't up there first. Who'da thunk it? In conclusion, Stevo is somehow the king of YNTE.

More fun with google

As part of their 10th anniversary, google has made available a search of their oldest available index from back in 2001.

While a lot of the links are dead by now, you can learn interesting things, such as the fact that Chinese Democracy is 99% done and will release in 2001. Who knew?

Holy crap we're famous.

Check out the 7th image, first on the left.

IT'S A PICTURE FROM THIS BLOG. On the FIRST page of a google images search.

This is almost as groundbreaking as the time somebody famous left us a comment.
